When should I use this move?
Practice tightening the frame and enlarging a subject from a fixed camera position. A zoom changes the field of view without moving forward. Compare this with the dolly template to examine their different perspective behavior.
Template settings
| Duration | 6 seconds |

How to edit and export
- Open the template and check that camera position stays fixed across its keys.
- Change only the final field of view. Inspect subject size and the edges of the frame.
- Compare with the dolly template at matching times, then export the reference you need.
What should I check during playback?
- Have position edits accidentally turned the zoom into a dolly?
- Does the narrowing frame crop the subject?
- If you want strong foreground parallax, consider a dolly rather than only narrowing the field of view.

Manual scene editing, 3D preview playback and previs export are free. Camera practice templates include public preview videos and downloadable scene JSON. AI direction uses director credits; AI video generation uses video credits. These are separate balances. Consult the pricing page and the quote shown before submission for current terms.
Previs expresses framing, space and motion; it does not guarantee a frame-for-frame AI result. Check product shape, text, camera paths and cuts in the generated video.
